The name Beija Flo is derived from the Portuguese for hummingbird and like the feathered friend she shares her name with is eye catching yet delicate in equal measure.
Origin unknown but Essex raised and Liverpool bred, Flo has set about creating an entire universe built on brutally honest life experience, activism and community theatre. Enchanting those who enter with music not shackled by genre but instead influenced by emotion.
Tackling issues of mental health, womanhood and romance, the young polymath is more than just a musician but a poet, an artist and a cantankerous chanteuse quite unlike any other.
